| any possibility of holding a singles board in lower bucks? there's a lot of buzz about people wanting to go but can't make it because of work and it being held an hour away. |

It actually isn't an hour from Lower Bucks ... it is about a half hour, 45 minutes top from the tip of Lower Bucks.
But, even if I held one at somewhere like Brady's, it would still be on a Saturday, which means people complaining about work still wouldn't be able to make it.
Anybody can hold a singles board. If you get eight people that are interested, just hold one at the bar most convenient for the eight of you. I know teams that hold singles boards for themselves at their home bar.

| Do you know if you are having an SL6 bracket as yet? I don't want to drive all the way down there is you aren't. |

I have two SL7s and one SL6 registered so far with two more SL6s as "maybes". I'm actually surprised more of the SL7s from Masters aren't jumping at the chance to get qualified early. They probably fear that I'll go up to an SL6 and they may actually have to face me. (Pardon me as I spit my iced tea on to my keyboard in hysterical laughter)
If I can't get a separate SL6/SL7 tier running, then all the shooters will be mixed in together.
If I can get at least six SL6s/SL7s, I can run a separate board. If you come, Lee, that's four, and in a worst-case scenario, if you guys really only want to play in a Purple Tier, I can just up the price of the board and run it with four people and double elimination.

Since we have to travel 24 minutes to this bar, will there be any Hors d'ouvres or do we have to eat before we go?
I love Bruschetta!!!! |

There will be $2 domestic drafts, but considering you only drink Bud from a bottle, that doesn't really help you. I'll see if I can finagle $2 domestic bottles for the pool league, too.
No love on the whor ... err, snacks.

Thanks to everyone that came out. We had a few early snags, but we got everything rolling. I'd like to thank Kristy Belly for asking the folks up at E's Irish Pub to host the Purple Tier shooters, E's for having us there, and Radio for running the board for me. Considering I had promised double elimination, we were lucky that E's was available and we could move one board up the street.
It ran a bit later than expected, but folks seemed to have a good time, so it wasn't terrible. I had a lot more people show up than expected (HENCE THE REQUEST FOR PRE-REGISTERING), so I think for the next one, pre-registering will be required so that I know what I'm working with. This way, I can coordinate ahead of time with E's if we need to run five tables.
Anyway, the winners! In the Purple Tier Board: Don Mayer Jr and Thom Donahue In the Open Board: Curtis Taylor and Tracey Strother
Well done gentlemen, and good luck in March.

| Thanks to you Greg. That was the first singles tournament I played in since I went up in skill level and I had a great time. I thought I would get killed but I didn't do to bad. I enjoyed the camaraderie and watching people shoot. Had a great afternoon. |
