$750,000 APA National Team Championships!Teams from across the US and Canada converge on Las Vegas, Nevada every year to compete for their share of the prize money. The APA 8-Ball & 9-Ball National Team Championships are held every summer at the Riviera Hotel and Casino. The National Team Championships in combination with the APA National Singles Championships (held mid spring) and the U.S. Amateur Championship (held late fall) annually pay out more than $1.4 Million in cash and prizes. But that's not the only way to get to Vegas!In addition to team play, APA membership entitles you the ability to compete in these pre-registered events as well! - One coach per team per game will be allowed
- Any combination of male/female teams
- Modified Single Elimination
- Maximum field is 256 entries (Size of board will be based on number of entries)
- Must have at least 20 8-Ball scores
- Must be on an active summer session APA roster in the 8-Ball Format
- Play in local qualifier rounds
- $60.00 per doubles Team
- Skill Level Limit is 10
- Local Entry Fees are used to assist the winning teams to travel to the National Event and National Registration Fee of $100.00.
- National Event = 100% Payback of entry fees to the top 25% of the field

- Entry Fees are used to assist the team attending the National Event and to defray the costs of National Team Registration fees, Travel and local qualifiers
- $60.00 Entry Fee per team
- Skill Level Limit is 10
- 100% Payback of entry fees to the top 25% of the field

- Must be on an active summer session APA roster
- $150 Registration Fee per team for winners of the Triple Play Bracket at the "City Tournament" is paid by the league
- No Skill Level Limit

A $15 Entry Fee Could Earn you Big Winnings in Vegas! SINGLES TOURNAMENTS NO TEAM, NO PARTNERS, JUST YOU Watch this site for Dates, Locations and Times of scheduled Singles Board Qualifiers Anyone may run a Singles Board Qualifier. Contact the League Office, request a Singles Board packet be sent to your location This Packet will have all the information needed to run the event. Tournament Brackets, Scoresheets, Qualifier Boards and the various ways to qualify players in the Singles Event WHAT IS A SINGLES BOARD A Mini Tournament between 4 to 8 active APA (on a team) Players, held in local host locations. The qualfier Board is the only entry fee you pay. All advanced brackets in the "Singles Regionals" and "Singles National Championship" are free. The players that qualify at these Mini Tournaments are invited to the next level, "Singles Regionals", where they will play in a 16 player, modified Single Elimination mini tournament. The winner of each bracket at the "Singles Regionals" advance to play in the "Singles National Event". HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PLAY IN A SINGLES BOARD Normal price per Singles Board sent in is $15.00 per player, single elimination, $120.00 total for the board. Should you run a double Elimination Bracket, qualifing 2 players, the APA requires double the cost of the board = $240.00 Three players qualify = three times the $120.00 = $360.00
Our league Area discounts the normal fees as listed below Our Singles Boards are Discounted by 18% to 20% all the time, all players must be from our league area to recieve a discount price, they may play in the qualifiers, but must pay the full rate $15, $30, $45 or $60 depending on the number of players and the number of qualifications awarded in the * 4 PLAYERS SINGLE ELIMINATION = $25.00 PER PLAYER, qualify 1 OF 4 * 8 PLAYERS SINGLE ELIMINATION = $13.00 PER PLAYER, Qualify 1 OF 8 * 8 PLAYERS DOUBLE ELIMINATION = $26.00 PER PLAYER, QUALIFY 2 OF 8 * 8 PLAYERS DOUBLE ELIMINATION = $38.00 PER PLAYER, QUALIFY 3 OF 8 * 8 PLAYERS DOUBLE ELIMINATION = $50.00 PER PLAYER, QUALIFY 4 OF 8
The culmination of the APA Singles Program is the APA National Singles Championships, held every April at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. This event consist of nationalsingles competitions for both 8-Ball & 9-Ball, as well as MINI MANIA EVENTS the entire tournament. If you do not earn a slot to play in the National Singles Event, you can still go out to play in the MINI MANIA EVENTS.
APA 8-Ball Classic Qualifying Windows: December 1st - June 15th (Season I National Qualifier - Fall) June 16th - November 30th (Season II National Qualifier - Spring)
- 4-8 players per local tournament.
- Players must be on an active 8-Ball Team.
- Players must have at least ten (10) scores in their 8-Ball Record.
- All Scores must have occurred within the last two (2) years
- Local and National Tournaments are bracketed by Skill Level
