 July 17th-19th, 2009 PENNSYLVANIA STATE INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT is the following weekend We invited all the teams that came in 2nd place at the Local Team Championship and we paid the entire entry fee for these teams in the event. JUST SHOW UP AND PLAY FOR THE MONEY Teams from across the State of Pennsylvania will be coming to the event....... Pittsburgh - Sunbury - Harrisburg - the Pocano's - CHESTER COUNTY, DELAWARE COUNTY, Philadelphia, BUCKS, MONTGOMERY AND LEHIGH VALLEY.....all teams that came in 2nd place in the Local Team Championship. if a league operator has a team that declines the invitation, the league operator may take another team from the Local team Championship to fill the brackets. Teams may purchase the any slots not taken by the 2nd place teams...BUT THEY ARE IN SHORT SUPPLY 8 Ball matches begin FRIDAY NIGHT at 7:30, register the team 1/2 hour before the match time most 9 Ball Matches Begin Saturday 9 AM register the team 1/2 hour before the match time MODIFIED DOUBLE ELIMINATION...Teams will play at least two times One team will become the "Undefeated Bracket Champion" Lose your first match, the teams drop down into a new bracket, playing out a winner of that bracket to collect "2nd Place prize money" 8-Ball one loss bracket = $1,000 Never play the same team twice, collect some prize money at the end of the bracket (5 rounds max) over $17,000 in prize funds, Mike Boyle TOURNAMENT ROOM WILL BE NON SMOKING NEXT WEEK To comply with the No Smoking Laws (smoking is allowed in the front bar and the front room only under the exception for Clubs, all outside events in banquet halls like weddings and my tournaments are NOT Exempt) Players may walk outside to smoke, just like all the other places in PA This means the bartenders cannot smoke in the Hall Bar, they will have to step into the room behind bar to smoke No drinks allowed outside!!! |
