As you may have noticed you can no longer view your stats and schedules on our local website. To view your stats and schedules, you now need to register on the APA National Site poolplayers.com. Even if you have an account on apabucksmont.com or apalehighvalley.com you will also need to create a new account on www.poolplayers.com . We will soon add a new look to our local site and link you directly to your stats again from apabucksmont.com or apalehighvalley.com. Thanks for your patience during this transition.
Go to https://members.poolplayers.com/default.aspx and click on Claim Your Account. On the next page, enter the information requested. Be sure to type your entire 8-digit member number and your name exactly as it is on your membership card. You will be asked to create a username, a forum name, and a password. Then type in your email address and your mother’s maiden name for security. (Be sure to set any email spam blockers to allow mail from poolplayers.com.) An email with a link will be sent to the email address you provide. Click on the link and the setup process will be complete.

ACCESSING YOUR PLAYER STATS, SCHEDULES, ETC.
No one likes change … I don’t like change, my staff doesn’t like change, and I know our members don’t! That said, once the change is behind us … things usually work better and the change seems to always be worth the pain getting through it.
Let me share with you some behind the scenes information and answer some of your website concerns. Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience, but the National Office is trying to standardize all APA websites nationwide, along with shifting to a new program called Nexus which will host all data on a central system. They have been working on this new system for the past five years and have just finally released it. If they didn’t get it released at the start of this league year (Summer Session), it would have been postponed until Summer 2012. They may have rushed it out just a tad early, but there’s never a good time to make a major system change.
The only thing that will be affected on the website (and only temporarily) will be the viewing of your personal stats. Until everything is fully integrated, you will need to register at members.poolplayers.com to be able to view your stats. When registering, note that no two APA members may share the same email address as with our old system. Every APA member must have their own email address. It's simple, you can get a free email address at poolplayers.com, hotmail, gmail, etc.
Migrating data from APA League Offices around the country can sometimes take up to 12 hours daily. They have to do it after hours so that the other APA League Offices can still operate during their normal daytime business hours. Again, this inconvenience will go away in 4-6 weeks. In the meantime, you’ll be more likely to get on the site and view your stats, schedules, etc. between the hours of 10am and 6pm. You may be able to access the site in the evening hours, but once you see the dreaded message that Nexus is Updating, expect the updating to last all night. Please bear with us during this migration period. The end result should be well worth the inconvenience we are all suffering. The National Staff Members are working around the clock to fix bugs, add enhancements, etc. and get this transition process behind them. They too are extremely frustrated, but their mission and goal is to get things back to normal as soon as humanly possible!
You may have logged on last week and noticed that your stats for week # 1 were not posted. This was our fault as we were not totally up to speed on the new procedures. This has been corrected and if Nexus Is “NOT” Updating, you should be able to view your stats anytime after 5pm on Thursday (for all, Monday, and Tuesday leagues) and anytime after 5pm on Tuesday (for all Wednesday, Thursday,Leagues).
Again, we share your frustration and want to thank you for being patient and understanding during this transitional period.
You may click on the “PLAYER STAT LINKS” button at the top of the left menu for step by step instructions on how to continue to view your stats, schedules, etc. online.
